About Parks and Recreation
The Bonita Springs Parks and Recreation Department contributes to the revitalization of the City of Bonita Springs, by enriching the quality of lives of our local residents, along with our visitors and develop their communities through quality recreation and leisure needs. We encourage residents to explore the various benefits of our Parks and Recreation facilities, such as innovative health and wellness classes, beautiful green spaces, playgrounds, charity fundraisers and community celebrations.
The City of Bonita Springs Parks Master Plan establishes a long-term vision and direction for the City’s parks, facilities, programs, and services over the next 10 to 15 years, informed by more than a year of community engagement, technical analysis, and coordination with City staff and leadership. The Plan provides a comprehensive assessment of the existing park system, including facilities, maintenance, staffing, accessibility, and community needs, while building upon the City’s Comprehensive Plan, 2023 Evaluation and Appraisal Report (EAR), and Bicycle Pedestrian Master Plan.
